Zhára'nek Til´bren
Bishop
Zhára'nek Til´bren
Species
Serpaksa
Appearance
Zhára'nek stands taller than most Serpaksa, their chitinous carapace a deep lacquered obsidian, smooth and almost glassy, aside from intricate embossed lines swirling like sacred script across their shoulders and back. Their segmented exoskeleton is interspersed with soft, downy patches of midnight-blue fur around the joints and abdomen — a rare mutation for a Serpaksa, hinting at a hybrid ancestry long forgotten. Their mandibles are narrow, tapered but unusually expressive, able to curl in ways that suggest emotion. Their six multi-faceted eyes gleam like polished garnets, but the lower pair flicker with a subtle silver iridescence, often catching light unpredictably. They move with a deliberate grace that contrasts their bulky form, each step measured yet fluid, almost like ritual dance steps, leaving faint impressions of silvery dust where they walk. Unexpectedly, around their neck hangs a delicate silver chain with a tiny wooden whistle, cracked but often kept close — an odd softness against their otherwise monumental presence.
“Their voice is low and reverberant, a sonorous baritone that echoes softly even in quiet chambers. Their speech is formal and deliberate, rich with metaphor and layered meaning, but punctuated by sudden, subtle humor when comfortable.”
