Sir Coren Vaelthorn
Paladin (Oath of Devotion)
Sir Coren Vaelthorn
Species
Human (Variant)
Appearance
Tall and solid with a weathered, sun-browned face framed by a cropped salt-and-pepper beard and a single iron-banded braid at the left temple. His right cheek bears a shallow, puckered white scar shaped like a crescent moon. He moves with the careful, economical strides of someone used to heavy armor but often walks barefoot when ash or frost needs tracing. When stationary he tilts his head as if listening for a hymn only he can hear. Unexpectedly, his armor bears hand-painted miniature scenes of children playing, tender despite the dents and scorch marks.
“Measured, low voice; adds an old soldier's clipped cadence when giving orders and softens into a near-whisper when in the presence of children or the dying.”
