Seraphine Larethiel
Celestial Patron Warlock 10 / College of Eloquence Bard 3
Seraphine Larethiel
Species
Aasimar (Scion)
Appearance
Seraphine moves like a reed in wind: deliberate, economical, and capable of sudden, graceful violence. She wears her hair braided into a crown that spirals into a small knot at the nape, threaded with dried oak leaves and the silver filaments of spider silk. Her skin carries the faint, pearlescent sheen of the celestial, but with a freckled, sun-worn map across the bridge of her nose from long hours outside. A faint, pale scar traces a crescent beneath her right eye — a remnant of a mountain fall during her solitude. She often carries three staves slung across her back in a leather harness: one capped with coiling runes and a shard of trapped flame (Staff of Fire), another rimed with frost that breathes cold when she thinks of home (Staff of Ice), and a slender brass Voyager Staff etched with runic distances. The illusionist bracers gleam like polished bone on her left forearm. When she laughs, small motes of golden light leak from the corners of her eyes for a heartbeat; when she weeps, her voice seems to echo in the air like someone recalling a hymn. Unexpectedly, she gardens in the folds of her cloak — tiny potted mosses tucked into inner pockets, an island of green where most would keep maps.
“Measured, musical cadence; favors images and metaphors tied to nature and craft; speaks in deliberate sentences and seldom uses contractions; when angry her sentences shorten and become birdlike staccatos..”
