Appearance
Borin looks like a piece of the earth that somehow learned to walk and swear. His torso is disproportionately wide, making him look like a solid block of muscle and soot. His skin is a deep, burnished mahogany, permanently stained with carbon and grease. The most striking thing is his movement style: despite his bulk, he moves with a rhythmic, dancers grace around the anvil. He wears heavy, circular brass spectacles that make his pale blue eyes look enormous, giving him a bug-like appearance when he peers at a blade. He smells intensely of cedar smoke and burnt iron.
