Appearance
Soren is a figure of damp elegance. He wears a masterfully tailored navy frock coat that is perpetually dripping wet, as if he just stepped out of a storm, yet the fabric never frays or stains. His skin is the color of a bruised plum, slick and cold to the touch, and patches of small, decorative barnacles have been polished until they shine like pearls on his cheekbones. He moves with a slow, drifting grace, as if weightless underwater. In startling contrast to his maritime decay, he wears a pair of pristine, bone-white silk gloves that he never removes, even while eating.
