Valerius Tick-Tock Vane
Artificer (Alchemist)
Valerius Tick-Tock Vane
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Valerius possesses copper-toned skin that has a metallic sheen, appearing almost like burnished brass under direct light. His horns do not sweep back like most tieflings; instead, they are tightly curled spirals resembling clock springs. He moves with a jerky, rhythmic precision, as if his joints were governed by internal gears. One of his eyes is a natural amber, while the other is a glass replacement filled with rotating tiny cogs that click when he focuses. Despite his mechanical aesthetic, he smells unexpectedly of fresh lavender and ozone. He is never seen without a smudge of grease on his left cheek, which he considers a lucky charm.
“His speech is rapid and clipped, often punctuated by the word 'Precisely' or 'Sub-optimal.' He speaks in intervals, pausing for exactly two seconds between sentences.”
