Appearance
A hulking awakened black bear that moves with the slow, deliberate confidence of something that has outlived empires. His once-jet black fur is salted with silver at the shoulders and muzzle, coarse and matted where old scars knot it into ridges. Dozens of arrowheads, spear tips, and blades protrude from the thick hide along his flanks and shoulders but are corroded and fused into callus-like growths so that they seem part of his carapace. Around his neck he wears a ring of hammered iron links, each link dented and scorched from the bellows of a forge. When he walks he favors the left foreleg slightly, a limp beneath the power of his bulk. His gait is unexpectedly gentle for a creature of his size, and when he turns his head there is a softness in the amber eyes that contradicts the brutal surface. In the bright of day a faint metallic scent of coal and oil hangs about him, and the sound of chain against fur chimes whenever he shifts.

A leather blacksmith's apron of patched hide hangs around his neck and chest, riveted with metal patches. He wears a single iron bracer on his right forelimb, hammered with runic dents from old customers.
Body Language
Slow, deliberate movements that magnify his size. He often tilts his head like a curious dog when listening. When angry his shoulders lower and he exhales through his nose in a short, hot steam.
