Marek Calderen
Fighter (Battle Master)
Marek Calderen
Species
Human
Appearance
A weathered, traveling merchant who moves with the careful economy of someone used to crowded markets and narrow mountain passes. He favors one shoulder because an old strap scarred the muscle and left it pulled slightly forward. His gait is steady and unhurried, but when bargaining his hands become quick and precise, as if measuring coin by invisible rhythm. Worn leather bandolier straps across a half-tunic hold small hammers and a crafter's kit; beneath that he sometimes wears a gleaming breastplate folded into a cloak when not selling. Unexpectedly, he keeps a child's hand-stitched ribbon tied to his belt that flutters bright against his otherwise muted gear. The ribbon is out of color with everything else and suggests a gentler, private side.
“Speaks in confident, well-measured phrases. Uses smithing metaphors and often softens bad news with a joke.”
