Old Rook
Salvager and Fence
Old Rook
Species
Gnome
Appearance
A wiry gnome with oil-darkened fingertips and clothes that look stitched from a dozen salvages. He moves like water through a crowd, shoulders first, eyes scouring edges and shadows. His left ear is scarred and folded, a notch mended with braided copper wire. He keeps a battered set of spectacles perched on the end of his nose when examining relics. Unexpectedly, he wears a child's bright blue ribbon tied to the inside of his coat where no one usually looks, and he smooths it absentmindedly when anxious.
“Speaks quickly with clipped consonants. Likes to preface bribes or favors with a joke or an odd proverb.”
