Appearance

Tinkwon moves like a pocket hurricane: quick, precise, and always leaving a faint trail of metallic dust. He is rarely still; his hands are stained with oils and lacquer, and his boots scuff the floor in a rhythmic tap that sounds almost like a small clockwork beating. He favors thick lenses that magnify one eye more than the other (one lens is round, the other is an oval he carved himself). His left forearm is a patchwork of brass plates and leather straps — not a full prosthetic, but a lattice of protective tinker's plates used to steady tools and hide old scars. Unexpectedly, he carries a battered, plush rabbit tucked into his breast pocket; the rabbit's button eyes are actually polished glass lenses pulled from broken goggles. When he smiles, the grin is quick and habitually apologetic, as if he is surprised anyone would accept it.

Height3'7"
BuildCompact and wiry, hands small but callused; moves with mechanical precision
EyesHazel with one magnified hazel through a lens (appears larger)
HairSooty gray with copper streaks
SkinWarm ochre with faint oil stains in creases

Rapid and stitched with mechanical metaphors; he punctuates sentences with small, nervous laughs. When angry he becomes terser and uses clipped, precise words.”

Distinguishing Features

Mismatched magnifying lenses over each eye

Brass-plated left forearm with faint scorch marks

Plush rabbit with glass 'eyes' in breast pocket

Faint singed smell of varnish around him

Voice

High, nasal, and quick; becomes whisper-soft when divulging secrets and clipped and cold when confronting slavers

Clothing

A patched brown leather apron covered in pockets and sewn-on gears, a waistcoat with too many buttons, trousers with reinforced knee patches, oil-stained gloves with fingertips cut off, and a scarf woven from leftover toy stuffing and clock-spring thread; his left sleeve is intentionally short to show the plated forearm.

Body Language

Constant fidgeting with small objects; opens palms when honest; rapidly sketches tiny diagrams on any scrap when explaining things
