Tickam Brindlewick
Sorcerer (Wild Magic with Clockwork Tincture influence)
Tickam Brindlewick
Species
Rock Gnome
Appearance
Tickam is a tiny, energetic bundle of folded robes and polished brass: a small gnome with a face mapped by faint clock-gear scars and laughter lines so deep they look like tiny sprockets. He moves in quick, punctuated hops rather than a smooth walk, as if each step obeys an internal metronome. His robes are layered—silken waistcoat, patched cog-patterned vest, and a weathered overcoat whose lining is printed with faded star charts. Dangling from belts, bandoliers, and pockets are dozens of watches — pocket, wrist, sun-dial necklaces, and a curious glass orb that keeps perfect time but never ticks audibly. Unexpectedly, he smells faintly of coal smoke, like someone who used to work under a forge, and his right hand is ringed with tiny brass bands that tick softly when he speaks. Although diminutive, he carries himself with an old-world dignity and a nervous glee that makes him seem larger than his stature.
“Rapid, laced with tinker's colloquialisms and sudden solemn pauses. He peppers sentences with timing metaphors ('that's a minute too late', 'in perfect fourths') and swears with quaint, archaic gnomish expressions.”

Small cog-shaped scars along jaw and temple
A mechanical monocle that flips open revealing tiny runes
A chorus of tiny clocks stitched into his overcoat's left sleeve that show different timezones
Asymmetrical eyes (amber and moss-green)
Right hand rings that tick when he talks

“High, papery, and quick, with an authoritative undertone; laughter is bright and sudden, like a wind-up toy released.”
Clothing
Layered robes and waistcoats in muted forest greens and browned leather; each cuff and collar hemmed with thin brass filigree. He wears a belt of tiny pouches and a satchel that unfolds into a portable workbench. A patched velvet top hat full of pins and a perpetual stain of oil on the right sleeve complete the ensemble.
Body Language
Rapid hand gestures replacing paragraphs; often counts or taps in rhythm; tilts head to one side as if comparing beats; when embarrassed he hides his face behind a watch.
