Kyōto Harusaki
Sorcerer
Kyōto Harusaki
Species
Celestial Kitsune
Appearance
In human guise Kyōto appears as a petite oriental albino boy with skin ghost-pale and eyes the pale pink of late winter sakura. His fur, visible as a soft halo where sleeve or collar parts, mixes soft gold and white like clouded moonlight. He moves with a practiced, fluid precision from hours at the forge and the sewing frame; his limbs are spry but not stooped. Unexpectedly he keeps one sleeve long and frayed while the other is cuffed and immaculate, a deliberate imbalance he insists improves his tailoring. Small burn-patches pepper his hands and forearms but are clean and almost ribbon-like. When he concentrates his pupils narrow into foxlike slits and a faint, celestial luminescence outlines his nine faint tails though only one tail is ever plainly visible until he wills more to show.
“Soft, almost musical; uses polite forms and small metaphorical turns. Occasionally lapses into shrine-chanting when nervous.”
