Appearance
A shifting silhouette like oil and starlight fused into a tall, robed figure. Where a face should be is a spiraling abyssal eye that opens and closes like a tide, reflecting impossible depths. Its 'skin' appears as slick black basalt laced with veins of shimmering salt and ink. Movement is fluid; when it walks the air seems to cling to it in thin membranes that ripple outward. Contradictory element: at times Babington's gestures scatter gentle lantern-scented smoke that smells of roasted marshmallows, an oddly domestic note that unsettles observers.
