Appearance
Barnaby is a boulder of a dwarf with sun-scorched mahogany skin that looks like cured leather. His beard is a chaotic thicket of ash-gray hair interwoven with copper wires and tiny brass cogs that actually turn when he is agitated. His left arm is missing from the elbow down, replaced by a bulky, steam-hissing mechanical prosthetic that houses a retractable swivel-cannon. His movement is a heavy, rhythmic stomp, synchronized with the rhythmic chuffing of a small boiler strapped to his back. Most strikingly, his left eye is a glowing sapphire lens that zooms in and out with an audible click, contrasting sharply with the weary, sea-foam green of his natural right eye.
