Appearance
Kabbel is a wiry, slate-skinned gnome whose posture is perpetually hunched as if he is navigating a low tunnel. His skin has the texture of wet pumice, and he smells faintly of ozone and damp moss. His left eye is clouded with a milky cataract, while the right is a piercing, intelligent amber. He moves with a jerky, scuttling grace that is unsettlingly reminiscent of a beetle. Contradicting his grime-streaked face and ragged appearance, he keeps his hands impeccably clean, often scrubbing them with a small piece of volcanic stone.
