Akamido Telvern
Artificer (Guildmaster of The Lodge)
Akamido Telvern
Species
Human
Appearance
A stout, weathered man who moves like someone used to climbing ladders and crawling under floors. His face is a map of tiny scars and grease smudges; laugh lines curl around eyes that still glint with mischief. He habitually chews the end of a short, battered pencil when thinking. He wears impossibly tidy red-and-green suspenders that seem to be more ceremonial than practical. Unexpectedly, tucked into the inside of his leather tool apron is a delicate, embroidered handkerchief edged in silver filigree that belonged to his wife. When he walks he tends to sway slightly, as if calibrating balance against invisible weight, and he often taps a rhythm on nearby surfaces as if testing materials.
“Dry, economical, often delivering a one-liner before elaborating. Uses faux-Latin mottoes and handyman proverbs he invented.”

Distinguishing Features
Red-and-green suspenders worn every day
Grease-scarred fingers with a tiny brass ring on the index, flattened by years of wrenching
A visible patch of faded duct tape on the inside of his left wrist
Voice
“Gravelly and warm with a steady cadence; quick to snort-laugh and punctuate remarks with clipped chuckles”
Clothing
Stained linen shirt, heavy leather tool apron full of pockets, battered knee pads, red-and-green suspenders that clip over everything, sturdy boots with extra nails driven into the heels, and a small brass monocle on a leather cord.
Body Language
Deliberate, with measured movements like someone who tests load and balance as he moves. When excited he becomes brisk and animated, tapping rhythms; when worried he fidgets with rolls of tape between his fingers.
