Maeric Hallowfen
Ranger
Maeric Hallowfen
Species
Human
Appearance
Maeric moves like a reed in wind, limber and sure footed. His skin carries a permanent misting of dried peat along the collar of his coat and the hems of his trousers. He wears his hair shaved close at the nape with a topknot of mud stained braid that holds a single small bone carved with tally marks. Worn leather and moss sewn into his cloak look as if their pattern was patched by river lichen. One surprising element: his left hand is always wrapped in a clean, white linen glove embroidered with bright blue runes, a jarring contrast to his otherwise mudstreaked, weathered look.
“Low, measured, often laced with fen idioms and a slow smile. He uses short parables drawn from wetlands.”
