Captain Borislav The Boar Volkov
Guardian
Captain Borislav The Boar Volkov
Species
Human
Appearance
Borislav is a man whose face looks like it was sculpted from wet clay and then struck by a shovel. He possesses a heavy, sloping brow and a nose that has been broken and reset so many times it resembles a knotted ginger root. His eyes are his most unsettling feature, they are tiny, black, and beady, darting with a predatory intelligence that contradicts his sluggish, brutish frame. He moves with a heavy, flat-footed stomp that makes his gilded plate armor groan, yet he can stand perfectly still for hours like a gargoyle. Despite his high station, he constantly reeks of sour cabbage and strong, acrid pipe tobacco.
“His voice is a low, gravelly rasp that sounds like stones being ground together. He speaks in short, punchy sentences and uses numerous northern proverbs about wolves and winter.”
