Tall and impeccably groomed, Calum moves with a merchant's economy of motion. His red hair is short and precisely clipped; his mustache and sideburns are waxed into an old-fashioned flourish that twitches when he smiles. His skin shows faint sun freckling at the nose and cheeks. He favors tailored shirts and a close-fitting vest dyed in tasteful tans and deep greens; the fabrics are soft but carry the faintest smell of peat and citrus. Around his throat hangs a small clover pendant set in tarnished bronze on a thin chain. Unexpectedly, his left hand is callused and stained from barrel work and barrel wax, and when inspecting goods he absentmindedly rubs a thumb over the pendant. In motion he is all brisk hospitality; when worried his eyes go distant and his shoulders tighten, and he will absentmindedly tap the underside of his vest where the pendant rests.
