Zark-Ving the Ink-Blooded
Species
Goblin
Appearance
Zark-Ving is a wiry, narrow-shouldered goblin with skin the color of a bruised lime. His most striking feature is the mess of indigo ink and charcoal dust that permanently stains his long, spindly fingers and the tip of his nose. He moves with a frantic, bird-like twitchiness, constantly looking at the horizon as if measuring it. He wears a heavy leather scroll-case across his back like a weapon. Despite his ragged appearance, his hands are remarkably steady and his yellow eyes possess a frightening, piercing clarity that seems to peel back the layers of whatever he looks at.
“His voice is high-pitched and raspy, sounding like dry parchment rubbing together. He speaks in short, clipped sentences and frequently uses cartographic jargon like 'azimuth' and 'topography' incorrectly.”
