Kaelorin Vesh
Rogue (Swashbuckler)
Kaelorin Vesh
Species
Half-Elf (Coastal Vesh line)
Appearance
Kaelorin moves like water trapped in a cup — his motions are precise, fluid, and economical. He keeps one shoulder slightly forward, as if ready to step into or out of a crowd. His face is narrow and weathered at the edges by wind and salt; a thin white scar arcs beneath his left eye like a healed seam. He wears a long, oil-dark coat whose inside lining is a patchwork map of the coastal town where he grew up (stitched with tiny, almost invisible pockets). The unexpected element: when in bright sun he habitually tilts his head so the light catches the silver thread woven into the rim of his hat, producing a brief, dazzling flash that distracts onlookers while he studies them. He smells faintly of cedar shavings and orange peel.
“Warm, mid-register, quick to laugh; he smooths words when negotiating and uses sea-borne idioms. He talks in short illustrative stories when deflecting direct questions.”

Voice
“Warm, slightly husky from salt air; quick cadence when nervous; softens into a sing-song lilt when telling stories.”
Clothing
A weather-stiffened oilcoat with hidden pockets, a linen shirt damp at the collar from salted breezes, close-fitting riding trousers, supple calf-high boots with soft soles, and a battered wide-brimmed hat with a silver stitch. He wears a fingerless glove on his left hand and a small carved bone trinket tied to his belt.
Body Language
Open posture in social settings, leaning forward as if to catch the other's breath; in danger he tucks his chin and narrows his shoulders to slip between lines of sight.
