Veran moves with the practiced grace of a courtier, though his footsteps are unnaturally silent. He possesses the sharp, angular cheekbones of his elven kin, softened slightly by a human jawline. His silver hair is always tied back with a silk ribbon. Most striking are his eyes: the left is a piercing liquid gold while the right is a deep, clouded sapphire. He smells faintly of expensive cloves and old parchment. He often wears a monocle on a fine silver chain, though it serves no corrective purpose, it is a tool for scrutinizing gemstones and lies alike.
