Brenna Narthbeard
Commoner
Brenna Narthbeard
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Short, dense silhouette with shoulders like hewn stone. She moves with a careful, measured tread more accustomed to counter and workbench than battlefield. Her beard is braided into three thin cords that end in tiny copper beads polished to a soft glow. The left ear has a row of small, mismatched studs collected from trades and travels. Her hands are callused and ink-stained with ledger markings. Unexpectedly, tucked beneath her apron where a coin pouch should be, is a small silk handkerchief embroidered with an image of a wildflower ribboned in silver thread. She gestures with a carved bone ruler as much as with her hands, tapping surfaces when thinking.
“Gruff and economical with words; softens into gravelly warmth when speaking of family or trade secrets.”

“Low, steady, carrying the rhythmic cadence of market calls; laughter is a short, toasted-clink sound”

Leather apron mottled with soot and oil over a wool tunic, reinforced elbow patches, a belt of pouches and tiny tools, and a muted green hooded cloak for market weather. Her boots have brass toe-caps and a hidden pocket in the left sole.
