Vaelen Thrum Gallowbraid
Druid (Circle of Spores)
Vaelen Thrum Gallowbraid
Species
Firbolg
Appearance
Vaelen is a towering, slightly hunched figure with skin the color of wet slate and the texture of weathered river stone. His hair is a wild, tangled thicket of peppermint-white moss that smells faintly of damp earth and ozone. He moves with a slow, rhythmic swaying gait as if caught in a perpetual breeze. Most strikingly, he wears a pristine, high-collared velvet frock coat over his mud-stained burlap tunic, creating a jarring image of aristocratic elegance lost in a swamp. He carries a small crystal atomizer and frequently sprays a scent of lavender and sandalwood into the air to mask the underlying scent of sweet rot that follows him.
“His voice is a low, gravelly rasp, often trailing off into a soft whistle. He speaks with an archaic, formal syntax.”
