Appearance
A towering, immaculately kept figure who moves with the economy of a practiced sentinel. His hair is pure white and cropped short on the sides with longer clasps at the back that catch torchlight like frost. The skin of his face is weathered but kept clean, and a pale, narrow scar runs from beneath his left eye down to his jaw, a thin white line against sun-darkened flesh. He favors stillness so that tiny, precise movements—an adjusting of gauntlet leather, a blink held a fraction longer—stand out. Unexpectedly, his left gauntlet is patched in blue silk embroidered with the childish initials of his first ward, a softness that contradicts the rest of his austere armor.
“Measured and low, each sentence economical. Respects formal address and answers questions directly.”

Distinguishing Features
Pure white hair cropped short with longer back locks
Narrow scar running from under left eye to jaw
Blue silk patch embroidered with initials on left gauntlet
Voice
“Low baritone edged with gravel. He speaks slowly but firmly; anger tightens the syllables into clipped commands.”
Clothing
Immaculate ceremonial plate bearing the king's sigil and long, dark blue tabard edged with silver. When off duty he wears a simple gray coat lined with wool and the same blue silk patch on the left cuff.
Body Language
Rigid, economical gestures. Tends to tilt his chin toward a sound rather than turning his whole body. When relaxed his fists unconsciously unclench and his shoulders drop two inches.
