Species

Appearance

A compact, weathered figure who moves like a reed bending in wind. Skin like old oak inner bark, grime-darkened at the knuckles. Her forearms are scarred with pale crescent slashes from barbed vine and cold steel. She keeps one side of her hair shaved down to a pattern of tiny triangles while the rest falls in a long, braided rope dotted with beads carved from bone and glass. Over her shoulders rides a moss-streaked cloak that seems to collect the smell of wet earth. In sunlight the braid shows thin silver threads woven through it as if moonlight is trapped in the hair. Her left cheek bears a faded tattoo of a stag's antler that curls toward her ear. Unexpectedly, her boots are immaculately clean, polished to a quiet shine even when the rest of her is muddied.

Distinguishing Features

Faded antler tattoo curling along left cheek

Shaved triangle pattern in hair opposite a long silver-threaded braid

Small glint of fused glass visible beneath the skin of her right forearm

Voice

Low, gravel-soft, with a quick rising cadence when excited and long, slow vowels when tired

Clothing

Layered leathers softened by long service and a heavy moss-streaked hunting cloak. Braided sash with pockets for herbs, a quiver, and a bandolier of odd trinkets including a tiny bone whistle and a ceramic shard from Keval's first pot.

Body Language

She tilts her head when listening and keeps her hands visible, palms often rubbed with mud as a calming gesture. When lying she tends to stare at the listener's left ear, a tell she fights to hide.
