Appearance
Bill is a squat, broad-shouldered dwarf whose skin has the texture of wet pumice stone and the color of a bruised storm cloud. His most striking feature is a dense colony of living, ivory-colored barnacles that have taken root across his left shoulder and the side of his neck. His movements are stiff and precise, like a rusted iron gate being forced open. Despite his weathered, brine-soaked exterior, his hands are surprisingly clean and delicate, with long, nimble fingers perpetually stained by black ink. He carries a massive, iron-bound ledger titled 'The Deficit of Life' chained to his belt.
