Marc de la Chaîne
Commoner (Senior Priest of Sidurie, custom temple abilities)
Marc de la Chaîne
Species
Human
Appearance
Bald pate warmly freckled from years in sunlight, a long white beard a little singed at the left side where a forge spark once caught it; chestnut eyes that narrow the instant he weighs someone; modest, patched brown robes with an apron-crease across the front from years of both prayer and labor; sandals with soles worn thin and stitched many times; a length of rusty chain looped at his belt like a rosary and worked smooth from decades of fingers; when he moves his shoulders roll with a slow, deliberate rhythm as if measured by an inner metronome. Unexpectedly, he keeps a small–delicate stained-glass shard tied inside his sash so it chimes softly when he walks; the bright tinkling contradicts his rigorous, earthy presence and always makes children look up.
“Soft, measured; often uses workshop metaphors and short proverbs; repeats the phrase 'One link at a time' when calming or encouraging..”

Small stained-glass shard tied inside his sash that chimes when he walks
Voice
“Gravelly and warm; laughs like a hammer striking wood and can switch to a quiet, steel-soft warning when angered.”
Clothing
Modest brown priestly robes with an apron stitched into the front, patched sleeves, a simple iron hammer hung at the hip, sandals with woven straps, and a faded sigil of Sidurie sewn over the heart.
Body Language
Slow, measured movements; when listening he leans forward slightly as if to weigh each word; fingers habitually find and twist a link of his chain when deciding; when lying his right thumb flicks the inside of the chain three times.
