Jhoska Bristleline
Illusionist
Jhoska Bristleline
Species
Half-Gnome (Wortkin)
Appearance
Short, wiry, and constantly in a state of mild dishevelment. Moss-green, tough skin dotted by faint, natural pinprick patterns resembling lichen. Shocks of ink-black hair form a bristling mane, interwoven with copper-hued filaments. Eyes the blue-gray of cold river stones, perpetually wide and darting. One of his large gnomish ears is pierced with a rusty ring; the other is notched and ragged as if gnawed. Despite his rustic roots, he wears a perfectly clean, silken lavender cravat that always smells faintly of jasmine. He moves with twitchy, nervous energy, yet becomes eerily still when deep in thought—a sudden, uncanny silence that unnerves even the bravest adventurers.
“Uses odd botanical puns, rarely finishes sentences, and flits rapidly between topics; his voice is soft but occasionally breaks into a shrill cackle..”
