His half-elven cheekbones are high and slightly hollowed as if from years of poor sleep and too many late-night readings. His skin is kept meticulously clean, his nails short and pale. He favors a constant small, almost invisible, lean to the right as if listening to a private rhythm. Contradiction: his hands are ink-stained at the fingertips but his cuffs are always spotless; the stains are a badge of work, not neglect.
