Elder Morwen of the Verdant Well
Commoner (Alchemist)
Elder Morwen of the Verdant Well
Species
Human
Appearance
Morwen is a woman shaped by her craft, her spine curved into a permanent C-shape that makes her appear to be searching for something on the floor. Her skin is the texture of over-dried parchment, mapped with a web of fine wrinkles. Her most arresting feature is her hands; from the fingertips to the mid-forearm, the skin is stained a deep, iridescent emerald green that no soap can lift. She moves with a slow, mechanical precision, yet her fingers remain surprisingly nimble when handling delicate glass. Contrasting her pungent, chemical environment, she always carries the faint, sweet scent of dried jasmine and fresh honey.
“Her voice is like the rustling of dry leaves, punctuated by occasional sharp, bird-like chirps when she is annoyed. She uses technical botanical terms even when speaking to laypeople.”
