Theren is a study in contradictions, possessing the willow-thin frame and delicate bone structure of a high elven scholar, yet his skin is leathered by sun and crisscrossed with jagged white scars. His movements are unnervingly fluid, transitioning from complete stillness to explosive action in a heartbeat. He smells of old parchment and fresh pine resin. His most striking feature is the way he seems to be followed by a faint, localized mist that smells of the earth, even in the driest deserts.
