Aelar moves like a storm cloud on the verge of breaking. He is almost always in motion, hair and coat edges rippling as if wind surrounds him even indoors. His skin has a faint gold-flecked sheen under certain lights. He wears a long, weathered coat of dark slate blue trimmed in brass, the fabric repaired with mismatched patches that tell of long travels. Despite his authoritative posture he has a habit of rolling one brass coin between his fingers when listening, a small and unexpectedly domestic movement.
