Pip Longstride
Root Runner
Pip Longstride
Species
Halfling
Appearance
Pip is a tiny, whip-thin halfling who moves with a rhythmic, bouncing gait that suggests he is always spring-loaded. His skin is the color of toasted hazelnuts, contrasting sharply with his startlingly bright amber eyes. He wears a singular, massive maple leaf as a cloak; it has been preserved through secret Root Runner methods to remain as supple as fine leather while retaining a vibrant, autumnal orange hue. Despite his delicate frame, his hands are thick with climbing callouses, and he carries an unexpected air of authority whenever he speaks about the soil.
“Fast-paced and rhythmic, often clipping the ends of words and using metaphors related to horticulture and soil quality..”
