Kaeluk Thalor
Paladin (Oath of Redemption)
Kaeluk Thalor
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Kaeluk moves like someone accustomed to careful touch: deliberate, gentle, and attentive to small things. He has the blunt jaw and low brow of his orcish line softened by a narrow, almost boyish mouth that smiles with real warmth. His skin is a warm olive with a faint network of sun-kissed scars across his forearms from pruning thorns. He wears his dark hair in a loose, messy knot at the nape of his neck, with a single white ribbon braided through a strand — a ribbon he plucked from a lover's sleeve years ago. His armor is always polished but patched with tiny embroidered wildflowers along the edges, a contradiction of martial discipline and tender craft. When he walks he tends to stop at doorways to check the hinges and will crouch to tie a child's shoe without being asked. Despite his tusks and broad shoulders, there's an air of careful humility about him; he looks more like someone who would fold a blanket for an injured stranger than stride into battle, and that gentleness unsettles both friend and foe in equal measure.
“Soft-spoken, uses measured phrases and a lot of gentle questions. He addresses people by small endearments or their first names and often uses metaphors drawn from plants and gardens.”

Distinguishing Features
A single deep diagonal scar across his left forearm healed into a pale ridge
Two small, silver hoop earrings on the right ear — mismatched, one plain, one engraved with tiny lilies
A faint, inked symbol of the Gilded Lily on the inside of his wrist (usually hidden)
A single lower tusk filed down into a neat point and wrapped in ribbon when he wants to look less threatening
Voice
“Warm, low, and melodic with a slight rasp on certain consonants; it drops into a near-whisper when confessing shame.”
Clothing
Well-polished chain mail with embroidered wildflower motifs at the collar and hem, a simple green surcoat of homespun beneath, soft leather gloves with the fingertips worn thin, and a loose scarf that he tucks into his belt when he expects to work in the garden
Body Language
Frequently folds his hands together, tilts his head when listening, and tends to lean forward in conversation. When tense he will touch the ribbon braided in his hair as if for reassurance.
