Tall and lithe like other elves, she moves with a lake-smooth calm that belies the snap of a meteor. Her skin carries a faint opalescent sheen, as if dusted with the underside of a moon. Tangles of hair the color of midnight blue tumble to her waist, threaded with tiny glass beads and slivers of polished star-metal that click like tiny bells when she turns. Her cloak is many-layered: deep indigo outside and a surprising inner lining of shifting violet that seems to subtly shimmer with pinpricks of pale light. When she walks at night the edges of her cloak trail a faint afterglow like a wake across the sky. The unexpected element: her boots are scuffed, earth-stained leather, worn and practical, at odds with the celestial elegance of her upper clothing.
