Paimon
Species
Demon
Appearance
Paimon is the size of a large child but moves with the deliberation of an old storm. Their skin shimmers with fine, scale-like flakes that change from coal black to moonwhite depending on angle. Small, curling horns ring the crown of their head like the ridges of a nautilus shell. They wear a collar of living brass wires that hum softly when Paimon speaks. Their tail is prehensile and ends not in a spike but a tiny lantern that emits a steady, cold blue light. Unexpectedly, Paimon favors delicate, human-style porcelain toys tied by silken cords to their belt, each toy cracked and mended in different ancient techniques.
“Voice is small and clear with an undertone that vibrates like a tuning fork; often inserts riddled legal metaphors in casual speech.”
