Verash-Khul of the Winded Ward
High Watcher-Sovereign
Verash-Khul of the Winded Ward
Species
Brass Dragonborn
Appearance
Broad-shouldered and cavernous in presence, Verash-Khul moves like carved masonry given breath: deliberate, patient, and inexorably forward. His scales are burnished copper that catch light like old brass hammered flat; some scales along his forearms have hairline etchings — ward-etch marks visible if you look close. He wears a high collar of layered leather and bronze filigree that frames his jaw and makes his bulk seem even more monumental. When he walks the slate ramparts of Khar-Atir he tends to turn his head as if listening for distant currents; the movement is uncanny because his eyes often remain fixed on some inward map while his auricular frills angle outward. Unexpectedly, he carries a child's ribbon—faded blue—tied to his right gauntlet, a soft incongruity against the hard metal of his armor that flutters when he gestures emphatically.
“Measured, resonant, and slow; uses weather and masonry metaphors. Tends to end important sentences with a barely audible drawl, as if weighing the last grain of sand in a cupped hand.”

Fine ward-etch scars running along his forearms, faintly luminescent when he channels magic
A small, crescent-shaped nick in his left horn — a souvenir from a siege-breaker
The faded blue ribbon tied to his gauntlet (see appearance)
A triangular birthmark of darker scale at the base of his throat
Voice
“Low, resonant, like wind passing over a cliff-face; his laughter is rare and sounds like stones clicking together”
Clothing
Weighted ceremonial mantle over studded leather; a bandolier of warding sigils and chalked talismans; calf-high boots reinforced with bronze; always a weathered map-satchel at his hip and the faded blue ribbon on his right gauntlet.
Body Language
Stoic posture, uses broad, architectural gestures; prefers to place his palm flat on surfaces when explaining—like feeling the structure of a wall
