His beard is a magnificent cascade of iron-grey hair, not merely braided but structurally reinforced with intricate copper wire and small lead weights to keep it from the forge fire. The most striking element is his left eye, a clockwork prosthetic made of burnished brass that clicks and whirrs as it focuses, contrasting sharply with the weary, soulful brown of his remaining natural eye. Despite his bulk, he moves with a surprising, almost surgical grace, his hands moving among delicate weapon components with the gentleness of a parent cradling a child.
