Species
Tabaxi
Appearance
Velvety pelt streaked with silver like moth-wing veins, always immaculately groomed; a long, tapering tail tipped with a single black tuft. Moves with the easy, coiling grace of someone who spent youth on ship rigging and market roofs — a continuous, economical flow rather than sudden leaps. Their ears are pierced with mismatched rings, each ring a souvenir from a different port. They wear a net of fine chains across one shoulder from which tiny glass vials, stamped seals, and folded sigils hang like a mobile. Unexpectedly, their left forepaw has a bureaucrat's callus: a permanent ink stain and faint burn from years of sealing documents with hot wax, which contradicts their otherwise furtive, thrill-seeker aesthetic.
“Rapid and playful when trading news, full of metaphors drawn from sea and market; slows to precise, clipped sentences when negotiating high-stakes or dangerous bargains. Often punctuates offers with a soft chuckle and a rhythmic paw-tap.”

A net of charms and vials draped over one shoulder
Permanent ink-and-wax callus on the left forepaw
Mismatched ear rings from dozens of ports
Voice
“Warm, slightly husky purr-toned voice with flickers of a coastal accent; inflection rises when amused and drops to a whisper for secrets.”
Clothing
A patched, sleeveless sailor's coat dyed deep teal, open to show a banded vest and numerous sewn pockets. Soft-soled boots with hidden compartments. A long, narrow scarf printed with maps of favored smuggling routes; the scarf is more map than fashion and contains minute stitched coordinates.
Body Language
Coils and uncoils like a rope; tends to lean forward when interested, tail flicking in measured beats; favors open palms when dealing, but fingers are always near hidden pockets.
