Thorinra Gravelhand
Artificer (Battle Smith) 9 / Cleric (Forge Domain) 8
Thorinra Gravelhand
Species
Dwarf
Appearance
Short even by dwarf standards with a mountain-forged stoop from years on terraces. Skin creased like dried river clay over knotted muscles. Their braided beard is streaked silver and mineral dust, woven with tiny metal tiles that chime softly when they move. Their left forearm is encased in a hammered iron vambrace fused to old ward-stones; veins of faintly glowing runes run across the stone, pulsing when they touch masonry. They favor a heavy wool coat salt-streaked at the hem and a slate-colored hood. Unexpectedly their hands smell faintly of wildflowers and old pipe smoke, an incongruous softness against their granite face.
“Measured, often uses old proverbs. Tends to slow and emphasize words like anchor, settle, and seam.”

“Gravelly and resonant with a hint of pipe-smoke warmth; uses a cadence that rides the ends of sentences like chisels on stone”

Thick wool coat reinforced with leather panels, a studded apron of riveted brass, a hooded slate cloak, heavy leather boots with metal toe-caps, and multiple utility belts holding chisels, runes, and small stone vials.

Moves with the deliberate slowness of someone weighing each step. Fingers habitually trace the lines of masonry and air-grind like a stonemason checking a seam. When excited they tap rhythms on nearby stone.
