Zaldar is a spindly figure with deep-maroon skin that darkens to charcoal at his fingertips and the tips of his large, ram-like horns. His movement is bird-like and jerky, characterized by sudden, precise freezes. His left eye is a swirling pool of molten gold while the right is a milky white, unblinking sphere that he claims allows him to see the weight of a soul. He is perpetually surrounded by a faint shimmer of heat distortion. Contradictory to his sharp, intimidating infernal features, he carries the soft, comforting scent of fresh chamomile and expensive lavender soap.
