An immense, coiling abomination assembled from the upper-torsos of three great serpents fused with a towering humanoid torso. Scales ripple like oil over its chest and shoulders, reflecting torchlight in bruised colors. Where a human face would be there is a triangular, multi-fanged maw ringed by smaller, independent snake heads that whisper and gnaw constantly. Its lower body is a thrashing mass of serpents that move with a horrifying, coordinated grace. Despite its bulk, it glides up the high terraces with silent, measured undulations, pausing to observe with many hooded, glassy eyes. Unexpectedly it wears a simple linen sash, threadbare at the edges, embroidered with an ancient sigil in faded gold. The sash is oddly domestic against the monstrous form, as if holding on to a single remembered ceremony.
