Xaylythra the Scale-Warden
Minor Goddess
Xaylythra the Scale-Warden
Species
Dragonborn
Appearance
Xaylythra stands with a terrifyingly calm poise, her seven-foot frame covered in scales of polished silver that seem to trap the surrounding light. Unlike mortal dragonborn, her scales possess a faint, translucent depth, revealing swirling obsidian mist beneath the surface. Her wings are massive and tattered, appearing as if they were woven from starlight and aged parchment rather than leather and bone. Her movement is eerie, she does not walk so much as glide a few inches above the ground, leaving a faint trail of frost even in the heat of a desert. The contradictory element of her appearance is her weaponry: she carries a rusted, chipped iron spear that looks like a discard from a common foot soldier, which stands in stark contrast to her radiant divinity.
“Her voice resonates as if coming from several directions at once, rhythmic and echoing like stone falling into a deep well. She uses no contractions and speaks in the present tense even when discussing the past.”
