Dilmun Varog
Merchant (custom trader archetype)
Dilmun Varog
Species
Goliath
Appearance
Taller than most humans, Dilmun's stone-pale skin is streaked with faint metallic veins that glint in sunlight. He keeps a trimmed beard threaded with copper wire and wears a patch over his left eyebrow where an old scale once cut him. His hands are broad, knuckles callused from handling ingots, and his movements are deliberate, as if every gesture is measured by balance and weight. Unexpectedly, he favors a delicate, silk handkerchief embroidered with a child's name tucked in his breast pocket, a soft contrast to the clink of chains and the smell of metal that always surrounds him.
“Measured, formal trade patter that sharpens into curt accusations when he feels slighted. He uses numbers as rhetorical punctuation.”
