Gorun Ironwhorl
Fighter (Battle Master)
Gorun Ironwhorl
Species
Duergar
Appearance
Short but stocky, with the hammered build of someone who moves iron as if it were clay. His skin is pallid gray like riverbed stone and carries the faint satin sheen of oil and soot. He walks with a pace that is steady and slightly staccato, the left shoulder carrying a small scarred pack of tools. His hands are broad, knuckled, and rimmed with permanent tiny burns in a network of white lines. He wears a heavy leather apron scored with dozens of fine notches, and a pair of goggles pushed up on a bald brow. Unexpectedly, he always has a single fresh wildflower tucked behind his ear, bright violet and incongruously fragile beneath the grime.
“Gruff, economical, and often threaded with smithing metaphors. Prefers short sentences but will expand when telling stories of the forge.”
