Garrukta Ironhand
Fighter
Garrukta Ironhand
Species
Half-Orc
Appearance
Garrukta moves like a gate closing: deliberate, unhurried, and final. She wears a battered mithral gorget under a sleeveless leather jack, the metal peeking like a pale smile above a throat scar. Her skin is the olive-gray of river-stone warmed by dawn; faint white scars map her forearms like constellations. Her left hand is encased in a custom iron bracer studded with tiny polished river-glass—both trophy and tool. She favors short, practical hair that is coarsely braided on one side and shorn close on the other, leaving a surprising cascade of silver strands at the nape that she rarely ties up. When she walks, her shoulders keep an almost protective arc, as if a small invisible circle follows her steps. Contradictorily, despite the hard planes of her face and the permanent readiness in her stance, her laugh is soft and quick, and she has an almost childlike habit of humming lullabies under her breath when she thinks no one is listening.
“Sparse but precise. Uses short sentences and rarely wastes words; when she jokes, the humor is dry and unexpected.”

Distinguishing Features
V-shaped white scar running from left cheekbone to jawline
Custom iron bracer studded with polished river-glass on left forearm
Pale crescent scar across left iris
Braided hair on the right; shorn on the left with silver at the nape
Voice
“Low, raspy timbre with the cadence of someone who spent years calling across forges and riverbanks. It becomes almost tender when she hums; it hardens like cooled iron when angered.”
Clothing
Sturdy travel leathers dyed a muted blue, a short tabard embroidered with the sigil of a halved anvil, heavy boots softened at the toes, and a heavy hooded cloak that hides the gorget in rain. A narrow wrist-sash contains small sewing implements and a packet of pressed flowers.
Body Language
Keeps her torso angled between threat and ward; places herself so she can always see her charge and escape routes. Hands rest near her weapon or bracer; when relaxed she folds her arms over her chest in a protective posture.
