Appearance
Slender and deliberately untidy. Thalren moves like someone used to crowded market alleys and thin towers - light-footed, quick to duck and laugh. He keeps one sleeve rolled to reveal a tattoo of an hourglass wrapped in ivy that appears faded with concentric scars through it. His left forefinger is stained permanently with green ink from ledger notes and herbal tinctures. Unexpectedly ornate brass goggles hang around his neck though he rarely uses them and they clink softly like a familiar, private metronome.

He wears mismatched boots, one with a brass-toed cap and one patched with stitched maps.
