Appearance
Liora carries the kind of beauty that invites confidences: high cheekbones dusted with faint freckles, a ready smile, and an almost constant tilt of curiosity in her head. Her hands are small and nimble, slightly callused at the pads from years of stringing beads and setting cabochons. She wears a long braid threaded with tiny charms and glass beads that clink like distant chimes; one bead is a translucent sliver of someone else's fortune-telling crystal. Her robe is embroidered with concentric circles that mimic amulet patterns, but the hem is always smudged with coal dust — a trace from the furnace she refuses to let go of. Contradiction clings to her: when she bargains she is all warmth and laugh-lines, but when inspecting a stone she becomes unnervingly clinical, lips thinning as she draws breath and peers through a tiny amethyst lens she glues to her left eye when needed. To strangers she smells faintly of orange oil and lavender; to old clients, of ink and old paper (the scent of ledgers). She moves with dancer's grace when weaving through a crowded bazaar but can plant herself immovably like a stake if a haggler presses too hard.
“Soft-spoken with bright inflections; she peppers trade-sentences with metaphors about light and binding. She uses polite diminutives when addressing children and a more formal register with nobles.”

Tiny amethyst lens affixed to left eye for gemstone inspection
Hair braided with dozens of tiny trade-charms and a single blackened bead from a bygone fire
A narrow white scar that runs from ear to jaw, partially hidden by a strand of hair
Voice
“Warm and bell-like, with a slight trade-city lilt; it softens into hush when she tells a story and becomes steady and clipped when discussing craft.”

Layered, well-kept soft leathers and embroidered linen: a studded leather vest worn beneath a flowing, patterned robe; a leather belt holding pouches and tools; comfortable boots; numerous scarves she uses as wrapping
Body Language
Opens her hands when speaking, leaning forward to listen; when worried she fingers the edge of her braid and presses a thumb against a hidden amulet tucked beneath her blouse.
