Ciran Vossel
Ranger (Gloomstalker archetype flavored as a coastal scout)
Ciran Vossel
Species
Half-elf (coastal Mariner heritage)
Appearance
Ciran moves like a man used to stepping between boat planks and rooftop tiles: quick-footed, always finding the best balance point. He wears a hooded, oil-darkened cloak that smells faintly of brine and tar; the fabric is patched with skillful, mismatched stitches from different sails. His left forearm bears a faded map tattoo inked in indigo that traces the secret currents and shoals of his home coast. A jagged scar runs from his right cheek to the jawline and is threaded with small, silver beads — a form of personal talisman made from the fittings of a ship he loved and lost. Unexpectedly, he keeps a porcelain teacup strapped to his belt, its rim crazed but clean, which he insists on using for all hot drinks. When he walks into a room he appears smaller than he is until he leans forward: then his presence fills the space like a low tide coming in.
“Measured and low; uses maritime idioms and occasionally slips into a soft elvish cadence when alone or whispering. He often addresses groups with 'We' to include and bind others.”

Clothing
Layered leathers and waxed canvas in deep blues and grays: a high-collared vest, close-fitting breeches, knee-high sea boots banded with brass, and a weather-beaten hooded cloak. He wears fingerless gloves of thin leather and several small pouches hung from a braided sash.
Body Language
Leans forward when engaged, often resting one hand near the teacup on his belt; when lying low he folds his arms and stares at the nearest horizon.
